Chad Green Makes His Decision
"I committed to Arizona State," Green said. "I actually committed yesterday but wanted to sleep on it and make sure it was the right choice. I woke up this morning knowing I had made the right decision, even though it was very tough. "To be honest, as of Monday, I still had no idea what I was going to do. I loved all three schools and felt comfortable at all three. I prayed over it hard and decided to go with where I was the most comfortable and for me that was ASU. "I'm a West Coast guy and I've always dreamed about playing in the Pac 10. I told my dad today that if I was living in Texas, I would have chosen LSU because I liked it so much. I just wanted to stay close to home, but yet still get away and ASU was perfect for that. I love everything about the school- from the players on the team, to my position coach, Coach English and the facilities are great as well. "I don't think it's really hit me yet. It probably won't until next Wednesday. Right now, I'm just planning to work out hard and run track to help my speed so I can come in and try and make an early impact. I think the future at ASU is very bright and I'm excited to be a part of it." Green is one of the top corners on the West Coast and has a great combination of size, speed and technique. He's a very physical player and plays the run as well as the pass. The Sun Devils are closing with a bang and making some serious news out West right now.
