Santa Maria (Calif.) Righetti safety Matt Miller is one of the Gold Coast's top prospects in the class of 2010.
Miller has one offer, from San Diego, as a safety, but there are plenty of schools still interested in him.
"A lot of schools have been waiting for my film," said Miller. "So a lot will look at that and I hopefully will get some more offers."
The interested schools include UC Davis, Northern Iowa, Northern Colorado, Fresno State, Ohio, Colorado State and Utah.
"I play receiver too, but a lot of schools are looking at me as a safety," said Miller. "I like playing defense. I'm pretty confident something will happen."
Miller is wide open when it comes to his schools of interest.
"I'm hearing from a lot of WAC and Mountain West schools," said Miller. "I'm wide open, but I'm looking for the right program to fit in with."
Miller said the player he models his game after is Ed Reed, the ballhawking safety for the Baltimore Ravens.
"But I like to hit too," said Miller.
Miller camped at Cal Poly, the B2G Elite Camp and the Scout.com Combine in Los Angeles.
"I'm just hoping for more offers," said Miller.
Academically, he is in fine shape, with a 4.0 GPA and scored a 1450 on the SAT.
On the season, Miller has 16 receptions for 286 yards and defensively has 45 tackles, a forced fumble and a pass breakup.
