Pat Milliner names early favorites
"I don't have any offers yet," said Pat Milliner. "I have been receiving interest from Alabama, LSU, Florida State, Vanderbilt and UAB. I have gone to college games at Alabama and Auburn. "I would like to receive some interest from Auburn. I went to a game there, but not as a prospect. Right now I would say my favorite schools are LSU and Alabama." LSU: "I have always liked LSU since I was young. Now that I am older I still like them a lot." Alabama: "I like Alabama's team a lot. My brother is also going there. I wouldn't mind playing with him in college." Milliner talked more about his visits to Alabama and Auburn this season. "The visit to Alabama was wonderful," he said. "I went for the Arkansas game. The atmosphere is crazy. It was a real good trip. It would be crazy to play in a stadium with that many people. I know there would be a lot of hype. I didn't get to talk to any coaches because we got there late." "The visit to Auburn was good as well even though I wasn't there as a prospect. I was just there as a fan. I went when they played West Virginia. It rained the whole time. They have a nice school, and I could see myself there." The 6-foot-1.5, 175-pound prospect stars as a running back for Stanhope Elmore. He carries similiar attributes as his older brother with speed and quickness. "My biggest strength is my speed," Milliner said. "I use it to my advantage. The fastest I have been timed is 4.37. Demarcus and I have raced a few times. He usually wins. "I feel like I could improve on everything. I can get better in the weight room, watching film and in books. I am trying to keep the team up, working hard and being a leader."
