The No. 2 ranked running back in the nation, Temple's (Tex.) Lache Seastrunk, recently headed west…
Visit Number Two In The Bag
"Man, that visit was great," said RB Lache Seastrunk of Temple (TX) HS. "The campus was gorgeous and all the people were cool. It was like everyone I saw came up to me and spoke." "I basically just walked around the campus the whole time. I didn't do too much on the visit. I made it to the game in the 4th quarter so I can't really speak on the game. It looked like they were playing hard but it was pretty much one sided. But the school was WOW. I mean, it was really incredible." Ironically, the team that handed UCLA their loss on Seastrunk's visit, was Cal; the school he took his first official visit to. The 5'11/185 pound U.S. Army All-American said that the loss would not effect his decision. "I'm not looking at the losses. It happens. I want to play for a school that can compete and win but I think that comes down to the character of the team and the coaches. I will be looking more at the coaches and how they bounce back more than the losses. And there are a lot of other things that will factor in. I want to feel comfortable with a school." He went on to talk about his Cal visit. "Like, when I look at my Cal visit, I did pretty much the same thing that I did at UCLA but the people at UCLA were awesome. I thought that it was one of the coolest things I've seen. The people made me feel at home. Those are factors that I am looking for." Seastrunk does not have any other scheduled visits and he says that he will not plan anymore until after he takes the ACT exam. As for a commitment, Seastrunk said, "I have no clue."
