Jamal Abdur-Rahman has the potential to be one of the best prospects to come out of Philadelphia in recent history and on Friday night was on the scene at Plymouth Whitemarsh high school to see the junior running back in action against Roman Catholic.

La Salle College High School running back Jamal Abdur-Rahman carried the ball 16 times for 100 yards and two touchdowns on Friday night against Roman Catholic and also caught two passes for 29 yards. The 5-foot-11, 170-pound athlete also intercepted a pass in the game which he returned 36 yards. Right now he has a written offer from Maryland and is interested in Miami, Florida, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Connecticut, Louisville, Notre Dame, Penn State, Syracuse and Virginia.
