Werner Has Officials Set
Bjoern Werner, a three-star defensive tackle prospect from Salisbury, Conn., via Germany is having a very solid season for Salisbury School and his coach talked to us about which schools he will be visiting in the near future. "Bjoern took an official visit to Maryland on September 27th and is going to Oregon on December 3rd and California or Rutgers on December 10th," Adamson said. "Florida also wants him to take an official visit, but they have not offered yet and want to see some more film. Kansas and Missouri are also schools that could get visits from Bjoern." "I know that he really likes Oregon and their coaching staff a lot and feels the same about both Maryland and California as well," Adamson explained. "Then you have Rutgers who has recruited him the hardest of all of these schools recruiting him and he has a good relationship with that staff, so there are plenty of options for him to choose from." Werner has had to play some inside linebacker this season because of injuries at the position, however he still has 46 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, two sacks, 11 pressures and seven pass breakups in five games. He has also caught seven passes for 82 yards on the offensive side of the ball.
