Fairfield (Calif.) Vanden athlete Chris Broadnax became the second Vanden prospect to commit to Sacramento State.
"Last week Chris decided to join his teammate Randey Peterson for another four years at Sac State," said Coach Haynes at Vanden.
The Hornets are thrilled to get Broadnax.
"The coaching staff was excited when he committed," said Haynes. "I was at Sac State that night when Coach Klayton Adams got the news."
Broadnax has been a big part of Vanden's 8-0 start.
"Chris has been having a great season. He has 11 touchdown receptions, which he broke the season record, which was nine and he's one away from the career record which is 15. He is 66 yards shy of breaking the schools all time record for receiving yards. In the game against Benicia, he had four catches for 93 yards and three touchdowns and on defense had three interceptions."
Broadnax was one of the standouts at the San Francisco Scout.com Combine.
