ScoutTV: Bret Jefcoat

Bret Jefcoat earned All-Star honors as a high school senior out of Itawamba AHS. At the conclusion of his prep career, Bret signed on with Southern Miss and Coach Larry Fedora. After a redshirt year in Hattiesburg, Jefcoat elected to transfer to Itawamba Community College in hopes of entering the recruiting pool once again.

In his first season at ICC, Bret completed 101 of 182 passes for 1,348 yards and ten touchdowns for a passer rating of 128.1

A skilled runner and passer, Jefcoat is comfortable in a spread type scheme that allows him to run an option style attack as well as make plays in the short and intermediate passing game.
