Baltimore (Md.) City College five-star wide receiver Adrian Coxson proved at the Scout.com combine that he is one of the most exciting players in the nation. The Penn State commit will have a chance to strut his stuff on the big stage against some of the nation’s top players.
Lynchburg (Pa.) Brookville four-star defensive end Zack McCray is a pass rush specialist who is headed to Virginia Tech. The 6-foot-3, 235-pound lineman was also a player who starred at the Scout.com combine in Baltimore.
Rochester (N.Y.) Bishop Kearney three-star defensive end Jerome Lewis is a versatile prospect that could also play tight end in the game and in college. Lewis chose Virginia Tech over Pittsburgh and a number of other schools.
Johnson City (N.Y.) four-star defensive tackle DaQuan Jones is a player who quickly caught our eye when we viewed his film during the spring evaluation period. Jones is another versatile prospect who could also play along the offensive line. Jones is also headed to Penn State.
Lexington (Va.) Rockbridge County offensive guard Caleb Farris is a three-star prospect that is currently ranked as the nation’s No. 35 rated player in the country at his position. Farris committed to Virginia Tech back in early May.
Outside linebacker Gino Cullotta is an interesting prospect who is originally from Maryland, but has been playing at the International School of Brussels in Brussels, Belgium. We have seen some internet film of Cullotta playing in Belgium; it is very hard to get a good feel for the level of competition he is facing. It should be interesting to see how Cullotta stacks up against the rest of the players in this game.
Garden City (N.Y.) Mineola running back Derek Cole is an under-the-radar prospect who has put up astronomical numbers this season. This game could do a lot to catapult Cole onto the recruiting radar of a number of schools and recruiting services.
