Two at the Top for Kapolei DT

Foi Foi is a 6-foot-3, 278-pound defensive tackle from Kapolei High School on the island of Oahu, and Foi currently has six scholarship offers from Pac-10, Big-12, WAC and MWC schools to choose from. Two schools are standing out, however, and he'll be visiting one of them this coming weekend.

"Things are really picking up," Foi told Scout.com recently. "Colorado talks to me every single week, to see how I'm doing in school. And Arizona, they say they really want me."

Foi will be visiting Arizona this coming weekend with Kapolei teammates Dustin Elisara and Tuu Lolohea. He has current scholarship offers from Arizona, Colorado, Hawai'i, Oregon State, Oregon and Utah. But it's the Wildcats and Buffaloes that currently hold the key to Foi's heart.

"Just from the photos and pictures I've seen, they look really interesting to me," he said. "And I know they offer really good academics. They have a lot of support, like tutors to help."

Foi knows he'll be visiting Colorado at some point before he makes his final decision, but does not have an official date set up. And he is more than happy to go to the mainland to play football in college.

"My parents really don't care that much," he said when asked about the question of staying home, as opposed to going away to college. "My Mom kind of wants me to stay, but my Dad just wants me to make sure I go to college. It doesn't matter to him where I go."
