Nevada coach Chris Ault got an early Christmas present, in a commitment from the state's #2-ranked player, Daniel Godkin.
"I made a verbal commitment to Nevada," said Godkin.
The three-star pass rusher from Las Vegas Palo Verde, also had offers from UNLV and Navy, but ultimately chose the Wolf Pack, to whom he was leaning towards for the past few weeks.
Godkin will take an official visit to Reno the second weekend in December.
During his senior year, he had 105 tackles, three forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, two sacks and an interception after moving to middle linebacker from his end spot.
