Central Florida Commit Hoping For Title
Championship teams will often tell you, many things have to go right to even get to the finals much less win it. Calhoun HS has done what it takes to make a 3rd apperance in 5 yrs in the AA finals in Georgia. A big part of their success is the play of Senior WR/LB and Central Florida committ Cody Ralston. How has your senior season went so far? Ralston-" It is a good thing I got recruiting out of the way because I broke my leg against Dalton in the first game. The last 3 weeks I have played pain free and I am back to 100%. I felt like my game vs Lovett was the best game of the year for me, so hopefully that will continue this week. Other than that injury my senior season has been great and I couldn't ask for any more up to this point." Are you still solid to Central Florida? Ralston-" I had some schools calling me, but I am 100% solid to Central Florida." What is it like playing with a player like Da'rick Rogers? Ralston-"Ah man he is a great player, a unbelievable athlete. He is the best athlete I have even seen in my life. He is a huge part of our success. If we ever need a play, we just put it in his hands and he makes plays. I know it is better to play with him , then against him. The one play versus Jefferson County for 96 yards was unbelievable. He was dragging a defender for 10 yards then broke free for a TD." Rematch in the Dome versus Buford. Could you ask for anymore? Ralston-" You couldn't ask for a better way to go out if we beat Buford after losing to them last year. This is what we have worked for all offseason for chance to win it and to play Buford again makes this game that more special."
