Robert was rumored to be close to announcing his college decision last week, but a flurry of activity resulted in that decision being delayed.
After several in person visits including meetings with both Dan Mullen of Mississippi State and Houston Nutt of Ole Miss, Johnson is now ready to declare his college intentions.
The talented wide receiver holds offers from Auburn, Kentucky, Louisville, Minnesota, Nebraska, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Southern Miss and West Virginia.
Scout.com has learned that Johnson's final two are Mississippi State and Ole Miss.
Robert is currently rated as a three star prospect and ranked as the #62 wide receiver prospect in the country.

Hughes has been recruited by several schools throughout the south, with Auburn, Duke, Mississippi State, Southern Miss, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and West Virginia extending offers.
Jay has the ability to play defensive back, running back or slot receiver on the next level. His versatility is one of the reasons he was awarded three stars and ranked as the #88 running back in America.

Quarterback James McMahon signed a baseball scholarship with Mississippi State last month.
