The last time we heard from York, Pa., product Corey Harris he was hearing from programs like Michigan State, Rutgers, Syracuse, Temple and Purdue, however it looks like he’ll be playing his ball at a slightly lower level in college.

Corey Harris rushed for 30 touchdowns this season for West York High School and was at one time getting some looks from FBS-level schools, but now it looks like he’ll be playing Division II football next year.

“Corey is getting a lot of looks from Division II schools from the Pennsylvania area like Kutztown, West Chester, Shippensburg, IUP and East Stroudsburg,” James Jones said. “He made first-team offense as a running back this season, was first in the county in rushing, had 30 touchdowns and had over 700 punt and kick return yards on the season.”

Harris was being recruited as a defensive back by Michigan State, Syracuse, Rutgers, Temple and Purdue.
