Pitz Update

Parkton, Md., native Mike Pitz is currently in Crab Bowl practices and took some time to update us on how his recruiting has been going.

Initially in recruiting, Hereford High School offensive guard Mike Pitz was hearing from FBS-level programs like Boston College and Northwestern, however after talking to the 6-foot-2, 284-pound lineman this week we found out that is no longer the case.

“I made first-team All-County, first-team All-Metro from the Baltimore Sun and I am also first-team All-State on coachesaid.com,” Pitz explained. “I haven’t gotten any scholarship offers, but I am considering Colby which is in Maine and am still looking at Colgate and some other Patriot League programs. I’ve been talking to Division II and Division III schools too.”
