The 5' 10", 170 pound tailback out of Oak Grove came into the Class 6A State Championship with a MCL sprain but gutted it out and played. He made one electrifying 60 yard TD run before leaving the contest when he re-aggravated the injury. Below are Jay Hughes' highlights.
