Jeremy Lee profile
One thing Lee is certain of is that he will get to suit up and play football somewhere next fall.
"Hinds in Raymond protected me," said Lee. "Mississippi State is still talking with me some too."
The Utica, Mississippi product admits he has some work to do in the class room before he can qualify for senior college play, but he is working hard towards that end.
"Coach Knox said that if I get my grades right he wants me to come up there and play DB for them at Mississippi State," said Jeremy. "I went up there during the summer for a visit and I really liked it up there."
In addition to Lee's camping experience in Starkville, he had the chance to take in a pair of Bulldog home games during the season.
"I had tickets to their home games," said Jeremy. "I went to two of their games. I went to the LSU game and the Florida game. It was great up there. The crowd was great. Everyone was hollering. It was a great atmosphere. I really had fun."
Lee reports that a chance to play in the SEC has motivated him to work even harder in the classroom.
"Coach Knox said I have a good chance of coming if I take care of things," said Jeremy. "My grades are coming up and I want to have a good GPA. I have already taken the ACT, but I don't have my score yet.
"If I do what I am supposed to do, they might have a scholarship for me."
