In a game with over 35 current D1 commits the competition was really at a high level.
Here are the standouts I saw today
JC Copeland- The Tennessee commit is very quick for a defensive lineman. At times today he was unblockable for the South squad. He was causing the North squad to change their cadence to offset his speed from the DT position.
Kyle Woestmann- Vanderbilt commit has great punch and uses his hands very well. He and Auburn commit Ed Christian were really having some battles today. Woestmann has a great motor and few times just bullrushed his opponent all the way to the QB.
Matthew Hardiman- A DE prospect that uncommitted and I am not even sure he has any offers. He played very well today showed he can get rush off the edge against a bigger OT prospect.
Conner Shaw- QB from Flowery Branch, who is committed to South Carolina, showed a live arm and great feet today. He is very athletic and will be a weapon on the next level.
Hutson Mason- Recent University of Georgia commit just keep on rolling today. He showed he can play under center and make all the throws needed to play on the SEC level.
Quenton Brown DE prospect that is committed to Central Florida showed really good speed off the edge the entire game. Auburn commit Jessel Curry told me after the game Brown was the best player he saw all week.
Jeff Whitaker- Big monster DT prospect from Warner Robins get pressure all day. He is the protypical run stopper that will require double teams alot on the next level.
Lonnie Outlaw- A 6'6" WR from Wilcox Co is a beast from WR position. I have not seen anybody that can cover him one on one yet. Today he gave the North CB's problems with his size and speed.
