Darius White
Asst. Regional Manager
Posted Jan 2, 2010

Darius White, Scout.com five-star wide receiver from Fort Forth-Dunbar, Texas, announced his college decision Saturday at the Under Armour All-America game in St. Petersburg at Tropicana Field. White had trimmed his list to LSU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Texas.

Darius White was one of four five-star prospects from the Lone Star State who remained uncommitted leading up to his announcement at the Under Armour game.

"I am committing to Texas."

Under Armour Practice Report: White had a solid week in Orlando during the practice sessions. He was overshadowed by a couple of other players who really stood out, but White held his own. He is a big, physical receiver who capable of stretching the field. He was smooth running his routes and caught the ball with soft hands. He has the size and tools to make an early impact at the collegiate level.
