Myrtle Beach, S.C. - A Late addition to the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl stole the show last week as Virginia commit Kevin Parks literally ran away with MVP honors.

At 5-7 and 200 pounds, running back Kevin Parks has been nearly impossible to stop throughout his entire football career. It's a misconception to think of the 5-7 Parks as small; he has legs like tree trunks and is nearly impossible to knock off his feet.

Committed to Virginia, Parks was not originally selected for the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl, but after a couple players fell through, O-D turned to Miller Safrit of Scout in hopes of finding a suitable replacement. Being from the Carolina's Safrit had seen what Parks had done in his career as well as local All-Star games and suggested Parks as a replacement player that was close to Myrtle Beach.

Parks was placed on the West squad and 150+ yards and two touchdowns later, the rest is history.
