Temple picked up another verbal commitment from Wethersfield High School product Tyler Murphy this week.

Tyler Murphy, a 6-foot-2, 190-pound quarterback from Wethersfield High School in Wethersfield, Conn., gave a verbal commitment to Temple University on Friday according to The Bristol Press.

Temple was recruiting Murphy as a wide receiver last year, but apparently he'll get his shot at quarterback first.
