Tim Burton has early interest
"Everything has been going real good," said Tim Burton. "I don't think I have received any offers yet. I went out to the U.S Army combine. I earned Scout.com Second Team All-Combine. I felt really good about that because there were so many people there." "I think if I would have been a little bit more highly publicized I would have been first team. A lot of the guys who got the recognition already had their names out there, so more attention was on them. I did my thing though. Hopefully this is going to get around to college coaches. "I knew I did good out there. I knew there was so much on the line. I was with my boys Bobby Hart and Wayne Lyons. I wasn't going to let people think their best friend was the scrub of the group. You can just call me 'blanket.' My coverage skills were ill. I know I held it down. Hopefully I showed I am one of the best in the nation." Burton is receiving a lot of letters, but one school is starting to increase their level of interest. "I know I am going to try to get to some schools for Junior Days," he said. "I am probably going to go to South Carolina January 29. They said they would probably offer after they see me. I am getting a lot of handwritten letters from North Carolina. I talk to Bobby Williams from Alabama from time-to-time. North Carolina is really showing a lot of interest right now." Burton talked more about his interest level in the Tar Heels. "I really like North Carolina a lot right now," he said. "They don't only have interest in me, but a lot of stuff on the table. Their secondary are all juniors. When I get there I would have a great chance to start. "Not many schools have a hell of a football and basketball team. They have great academics. They are like the Stanford of the East Coast. They are a team I am really liking right now."
