Harrison Central quarterback Aerion Williams led the Red Rebels to back to back appearances in the Mississippi High School playoffs. Williams took over a struggling team in 2007 and in 2009 had Harrison Central away from a region championship. Aerion's exploits caught the eyes of college recruiters. During an official visit to Arkansas State this weekend, Williams ended his recruitment.

"Aerion visited up there this weekend," said Harrison Central assistant Nekemia Rich. "He called everybody down here to let us know that he committed."

Williams drew interest from around the south with offers coming from Arkansas State and Southeastern Louisiana.

"He gets home tonight," said Rich. "He had a real good time up there and felt like it was time to do it."
