"I am going on a visit to Memphis State next weekend," said Donald. "They are talking about offering me when I come down to visit."
Should the Tigers offer, it would be Hawkins' only bona fide option of the recruiting process.
"I still have those verbal offers from Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Southern Miss," said Donald. "I haven't heard from any of them in a while though.
"I was talking to Mississippi State a lot, but then I missed my ACT and they quit calling me."
Hawkins admits to getting rather antsy about the process with signing day looming. Should Memphis elect to offer him, he would gladly accept.
"I am not sure what is going to happen," said Donald. "I am leaning towards committing to them if they offer me when I get down there."
