Army All-American to announce today

The most anticipated announcement from the Magnolia state this recruiting season will take place today. It will come down between the two Mississippi SEC schools in Ole Miss and MSU for Carlos Thompson. To learn more, read below.

"Between noon and one we are calling the staffs from Ole Miss and MSU to let them know of our decision," added Coach Carlos Thompson Sr. "We are new at this, so we do not know exactly how we are going to release the news, but we told the two local TV stations (in Greenville) that they could be the first to break the news in this area, so he is going to be there for the 6 o'clock news and announce it on TV at 6:20 pm on WAGb."

This has been a long and hard battle between the two instate bitter rivals, but the Thompson's have had enough and are ready to call it a day.

"I will talk to both of their head coaches and let them know of the news. Carlos has had a good idea on where he wanted to go for a while now, but he feels 100% sure of his decision now so we are going to go ahead and get this over with. He will definitely commit today. We want to be fair to both schools so they can go ahead and try and fill their needs at Carlos' spot. It is not fair on them to wait any longer. We have too much respect for both staffs to do that to them."
