Lee Talks SEC Visit
Jeremy Lee profile "My host was Charles Mitchell," said Jeremy. "He's a good player. This was my first time meeting him, but I have seen him play before. "He told me to be myself and just have fun this weekend." The fun began on Friday night with dinner and continued through Saturday's basketball win over LSU. "The first night we ate dinner at Coach Mullen's house," said Jeremy. "Saturday we got to tour the campus and go to the basketball game. It was live and big in there. It was a lot of fun and they won. The atmopshere was just like football. The fans were real good." Before heading back home to Utica, Lee had the chance to sit and talk with the Bulldogs' head coach Dan Mullen. "They offered me a scholarship," said Lee. "Coach Mullen told me about it. He said he likes my speed and my work ethic. He said I know how to act." Standing close to six feet, the standout defensive back is bigger than most of his peers at his position. "They want me on defense," said Jeremy. "They are talking about me playing corner. I liked talking with Coach Smith. He told me I reminded him of some of his old players. He said he really liked my speed." After the weekend trip to Starkville, the Bulldogs appear to be the team to beat. "Mississippi State is a really good school," said Lee. "They are really high on my chart. I have offers from Southern Miss and Southeastern Louisiana, but I didn't visit them. "I am going to announce my decision on signing day."
