Wells Drawing First Looks
Brandon Wells profile "I am hearing Vandy, Georgia, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Bama, Auburn, Florida State, Illinois and Notre Dame," said Wells. "No offers yet. I am still hoping and waiting. I feel like once I get my tape out that is going to help me get some things going." Three SEC schools have extended Junior day invites to the talented quarterback. "I went to Alabama for their junior day," said Wells. "I am going to Mississippi State and then I am going to Auburn for their junior day. I might not be able to make Mississippi State's junior day this Saturday, but they are going to get me down there soon to visit." Brandon is more of a dual threat quarterback who is always a threat to run. He believes he has the skill set to move a college offense from behind center and that is where he expects to line up on the next level. "Everyone is recruiting me as a quarterback and that's what I want to play," said Wells. "I can make plays on the fly. I think that is a strength of mine. I feel like I know what to expect before I play. I am good at making something out of nothing. I have feel like my arm strength is an asset for me. That probably surprises some people because they see me as more of a runner." Brandon has a good idea about what he wants from the college experience and unlike most high school players, early playing time is not a high priority in his decision making process. "The first thing is my major," said Wells. "I plan on majoring in business management. "I want to go somewhere I can redshirt and put on some weight. I am okay with waiting for my turn and starting in a couple of years. "I don't worry about getting behind. I am a confident person and I am a the glass is half full guy. I just want a chance to get to play for a good program and get my education."
