Franklin Shannon

Skyline High has become a powerhouse program and a number of schools are after Anthony Wallace and Franklin Shannon. This week was a busy one as both players added multiple offers.

Wallace, a 6-foot-2, 235-pounder may have one of the most impressive offer lists in the entire country. Prior to last the weekend he held offers from schools like Oklahoma, LSU, Arkansas, Baylor, Houston, Kansas, Miami (FL), Minnesota, Notre Dame, Florida, Kentucky and Texas A&M.

Then in about a 10 day span he has added even more offers as Texas, Arizona, USC and Texas Tech all offered Scout.com ‘s No. 4 ranked middle linebacker.

As a junior in 2009 he helped lead Skyline in to the State Semi-Finals and earned All-District honors while racking up 88 tackles.

Wallace was quickly recognized as elite prospect early last Fall, but the recruiting interest surrounding Shannon has been almost equally impressive and he has started to amass an impressive offer list.

The first schools to jump on board were Baylor, Oklahoma, Kansas State, Kansas, Kentucky and Nebraska.

This week he added two more major offers when Arizona and Texas A&M stepped up. The Aggies signed Shannon's teammate Dominique Patterson in 2010.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Shannon is an impressive and versatile prospect that has good length, speed, and coverage skills at safety, but looks to have the frame to possibly grow in to an outside linebacker.
