What did some of the top recruits visiting MSU have to say about Sunday's basketball game? Find out right here.

Justice Hayes / RB / Grand Blanc (Mich)
Four-star had the student section chanting his name
"I first started playing basketball and I loved Michigan State basketball. They won a national championship in basketball when I was younger and I liked watching them. Michigan State is getting better and they might be the team to beat in Michigan in a few years.”

Brad Carrico / OT / Dublin-Coffman (Ohio)
Highly sought offensive tackle says Spartans are close to offering
"“Coach Mike Tressel is my main recruiter. He said that before I camp how he wanted to offer me, and that they will at some point. Coach Dantonio wasn’t there this weekend, so I think that’s why they held off on the offer maybe. I talked to him a little bit about it at the junior day and he wants me to get up for another spring practice and let me sit down and talk with Coach Dantonio since he wasn’t there."

Brennen Beyer / DE/TE / Plymouth (Mich)
Four-star prospect recently received an MSU offer
"The basketball game was great. It's always great to see a Michigan State basketball game, so it was fun. They don't really know which side of the ball they see me on yet. They gave me a tour of athletic facilities and took us through to see the academics"

Connor Cook / QB / Walsh Jesuit (Ohio)
Ohio quarterback lands first offer from Spartans
"My parents and I were there for their basketball game against Ohio State. We met up with Coach Narduzzi, and he introduced us to a few of the other coaches. When we were all sitting there, Coach Narduzzi handed me two sheets of paper, and he told me I had the scholarship offer. My parents and I were so excited, and this means a lot. I'm pretty pumped about this program."

Kevin Williams / DT / Holland Springfield (Ohio)
Williams's stepdad an MSU grad
"He’s a huge Michigan State fan of course (He’s an MSU grad). He really liked Michigan State. He was impressed with the coaching staff. He was really impressed with Michigan too, surprisingly. He really liked Michigan. He’s not biased about it either. It’s not like he wants me to go to Michigan State because he went to Michigan State. It has nothing to do with it at all. That has nothing to do with his decision with his choice and my choice"

Desmond Morgan / LB / Holland West Ottawa (Mich)
West Michigan linebacker had 120 tackles as a junior
"I talked to both the coach of my recruiting area, Coach Roushar and the linebackers coach, and they both said they had a chance to watch my film and they liked what they saw. They said they would be in contact in the near future and they wanted me to come out to a couple spring practices and possibly the spring game."

Courtney Williams / S / Melvindale (Mich)
6'2, 210-lber is versatile and just getting on the radar
"The visit went great," he said. "I met a lot of the coaches, although Coach Dantonio could not be there. They think I'd fit great, but as far as any type of offers they still have to complete both on field and academic evaluations on me as well as the others who attended the Junior Day."

DeAnthony Arnett / WR / Saginaw (Mich)
The state's top receiver talks about game atmosphere
DeAnthony Arnett "The game was good. It was the loudest it has been since I've been up there. I like pro style because that's what the next level runs, but I look at the spread and guys like Crabtree and Maclin and I think I have the same abilities as them."

Taiwan Jones / LB/S / New Baltimore Anchor Bay (Mich)
The state's top receiver talks about game atmosphere
Anchor Bay 2011 LB Taiwan Jones "My dad and mom went up and watched the game. They wanted to have me back up to go over defenses and have the opportunity to see the campus and also attend spring practice and wished me a good basketball season. I had a chance to talk with other recruits, Lawrence Thomas, DeAnthony Arnett and others who were visiting. It was a good visit."
