Deiana Will Attend Blair

Matt Deiana had plenty of offers coming out of his senior year at Somers High School last season, but none that piqued his interest enough to get a verbal commitment out of him. He recently informed Scout.com that he will be attending Blair Academy for a prep season and try to get better offers from there.

“I wanted to let you know that I’m going to prep at Blair Academy in New Jersey,” Matt Deiana stated. “I finished my senior year with offers from Army, Colgate, Sacred Heart, Wagner and Marist. I had preferred walk-on offers from Connecticut, Penn State, Temple and Akron as well.”

“The schools I am in contact with for next year are Connecticut, Penn State, Rutgers, Wisconsin, Pittsburgh, BYU and Buffalo,” Deiana explained. “I’m really close to getting an offer from BYU and Buffalo and should find out more in the next few weeks.”

Deiana rushed for 3297 yards and 33 touchdowns during his high school career at Somers High School.
