In his weekly recruiting column, Dudley E. Dawson catches up with Clarksville speedster Wesleigh…
Arkansas speedster likes two
"I have not received any offers," said Wesleigh Foster. "Arkansas, Auburn and Alabama are showing interest. A lot of schools in the SEC are showing interest. Notre Dame, UCLA and Oklahoma State are also showing interest. "Arkansas was showing the most interest at first, but now it's Oklahoma State and Tulsa. I can't really say I have favorites, but I would like to go to either Oklahoma State or Arkansas." Foster talked more about the two listed schools. Oklahoma State: "They have nice facilities. It reminds me of how NFL facilites would look. The coaches are really nice. Everyone seems tightly bonded up there." Arkansas: "I live in Arkansas. My dad had grown me up to be a Razorback. Bobby Petrino is a real nice coach. I like it a lot up there." Foster has traveled to Stillwater and Fayetteville. He also took a visit to Tuscaloosa during the football season. He plans to return to Oklahoma State and visit Ole Miss. "I went to one of Alabama's games last year," he said. "The visit was nice. There were a lot of recruits up there. They are one of the top teams in the nation. I couldn't really get much one-on-one time with the coaches. They have a nice facility and a real nice field." The 5-foot-11, 193-pound athlete talked about his strengths areas to improve. "My speed is my biggest strength," Foster said. "I won the 100m in the state track competition. I have been working on my strength. I have also been working on my weight. I want to be a speed and power back. "I want to work on making plays out of the backfield. I see a lot of colleges getting the ball to the running backs out of the backfield. I want to really work on that and become more of a threat."
