Coach Spotlight: Deveon Dinwiddie

Hutchinson High School in Kansas has won the 5A state title the past six years. For the past four championship teams, Deveon Dinwiddie has played an integral role in the team's success. In state championship games alone Dinwiddie had nine touchdowns and had 2,498 all-purpose yards as a senior. For the undefeated Salt Hawks, he was a big play waiting to happen.

"As a freshman we used Deveon primarily to return kicks," said Hutchinson head coach Randy Dreiling. "As a sophomore, he was used more in a starting role in the slot. We run the flex-bone like Navy, so we line him up at slot and tried to get the ball in his hands as often as possible."
