Brandon Wells attending A-Day
"I think we are improving for sure," Brandon Wells said of their 7-on-7 team. "There are athletes everywhere. There is little room for error. The cover guys are fast. "I think I could have done better. There is always room for improvement. I had a couple of balls sail on me, but overall I am doing all right." Wells is eager to receive his first scholarship offer, but is hearing from several schools. "I don't have any offers yet, just looks," he said. "Coaches really want to see me at camps. I am receiving interest from Florida State, Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Michigan, Tennessee and Vanderbilt. "I have been to Alabama and Southern Miss this spring. I went to Auburn one day to meet with coach Malzahn. I am going to Ole Miss soon, and I plan on going back to Auburn this weekend for their A-Day game." Wells talked more about the visit to Auburn and meeting with offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn. "The visit went well," he said. "Coach Malzahn is a really nice guy. I still speak to him from time-to-time. He said he likes my character. He likes what he has seen on film. He wants to see how I have progressed from last season to camp this summer then they will decide on an offer."
