Anthony Johnson visits Tuscaloosa
"The visit was a good trip," said Anthony Johnson. "I went to go see my family member Eddie Lacy play. I enjoyed myself while I was there. "Eddie is doing good. He is progressing. He arrived a little late last year because of academics, but now he is doing well. He is going to be behind two great backs, but he is going to get some playing time. "I spoke to coach Bo [Davis] while I was there. I also talked to coach Burton Burns and coach Saban. They were happy I came to see them and the facilities. They were just wanting to see how I was doing and stuff like that. "The spring game was a great atmosphere. They had 90,000 fans at the game. It was crazy. I really enjoyed myself. Alabama is a great place. I attended their game last year against Tennessee. They have great people up there." The trip to T-town left an impression, but the home-state school has sealed the deal. "The football program is great," Johnson said. "They have a great defense. Coach Saban is famous for his defense, The program is going to be very stable for the next coming years. "Nothing has changed with my commitment to LSU. LSU is the place to be. That is where I am committed. Myself and other 2011 commmitments are very humble. We want to win championships at home. I still plan to take all five of my official visits."
