SEC Offer for Top JuCo OL
Korian Chambers profile "I have a new offer from Mississippi State," said Chambers. "They were down here the other day and they watched practice. I think it was the defensive coordinator (Chris Wilson) that came. He left a card for me." Growing up in the south, Korian, knows a thing or two about the Bulldogs. "I like Mississippi State," said the talented tackle. "It's not too far from home. I grew up in Memphis, so that's not bad. The want me to come in and play left tackle. They said they have a lot of seniors on the OL that are leaving and I would have a chance to come right in and start." Several other programs have extended a formal scholarship to the talented sled pusher. "Texas Tech has offered me a scholarship, Louisville, Kentucky and Kansas," said Chambers. "All of them have talked to me and offered me a scholarship. There are some more too. My coach has a list of all of them." When decision time comes, atmosphere will be a key component in Chambers' decision making process. "I am a sore loser," said Korian. "I like to win just like everybody else, but at the same time I want to go to a program that takes care of it's student athletes." With several offers to chose from, a recent campus visit to a school out west has Chambers thinking about staying in the dry desert heat for a couple more years. "I am leaning towards New Mexico right now," said Richards. "I went down there and they treated me like family. I just liked it. "I know I want to take some visits this summer and I am really thinking about making a decision before I play another game."
