Two Offers For Lineman
The private schools in Texas have become more and more a hotbed of talent. In years past only a handful of players in the private schools would get offers. Recently the private schools have become regular providers of college level talent. There are only two private schools out in West Texas that also play 11-man football. One in El Paso and the other is in Midland Texas. Midland Christian has one solid D1 prospect in Bobby Thompson who is being recruited as an offensive tackle. Thompson is 6-6, weighs 275 and racked up the post-season honors. Colleges are starting to notice him also as he has gotten a pair of offers. According to Midland Christian's Head Football Coach, Greg McClendon, his star tackle has two offers to date. "Bobby Thompson has offers from Baylor and Texas A&M. He has not committed yet", said Coach McClendon. Stay with Scout.com for more on Bobby and other players in Texas.
