Frazier Adds Two More

Kankakee (Ill.) Bishop McNamara offensive lineman Matt Frazier picked up new offers, and had several schools check in on him. He gave Scout all the latest in this update.

Bishop McNamara's Matt Frazier has seen a flood of schools come in. He says two new offers came from Eastern Illinois and Memphis, and he has had a host of schools stop by.

"During the spring evaluation, there have been 14 colleges in to school so far. The schools are Illinois, Boston College, Syracuse, Wisconsin, Northern Illinois, Ball State, Bowling Green, Eastern Illinois, Michigan State, Purdue, Northwestern, Indiana, Western Michigan and Memphis. Syracuse and Memphis were total surprises - we had never had any contact with them before."

Frazier says Florida International, Central Michigan and Arizona are also planning stop in. He also says there are three Big Ten schools in particular who are showing more interest.

"Michigan State coach seemed VERY interested, that was my first time meeting Coach Roushar. I really liked him and am planning on attending their camp. Coach Hagen from Purdue is very interested in seeing me at the one day camp. Coach Cushing from Northwestern is a great guy and I would love to play for him and Coach Fitz."

Those are three of the schools he is signed up for camps at right now.

"Right now I am signed up for one day camps at Purdue, Michigan State, Northwestern and Indiana. That may change, it depends on who is serious at the end of the spring evaluation period."

Frazier's recruitment has been rolling, and while it is a hectic time, he has enjoyed the process thus far.

"It has been very busy, but it is great."
