"I have offers from Memphis, Troy and South Alabama," said Ricky Hunter "Alabama, LSU, South Carolina, Auburn, Alabama A&M and Middle Tennessee are showing interest. UAB, Arkansas, Louisville, Kentucky and Samford are all looking at me. Illinois, Texas Tech, Ole Miss, Florida State and Southern Miss are showing interest as well. "I am going to attend some camps this summer. I am going to the Nike camp this Saturday at Alabama. I am going to Alabama, Auburn, UAB and Jacksonville State camps this summer. "We had several coaches stop by this spring. They came from Louisville, Alabama State, Middle Tennessee and Memphis. We had our spring game last Thursday. We lost to Reeltown. I had five tackles in the game." Hunter listed favorites, in no particular order, as Alabama, Auburn, LSU and Florida. Alabama: "I like their program. I like how Nick Saban turned their program around. I like how they play defense." Auburn: "I like the atmosphere down there, for real." LSU: "I like LSU because they have been on top for a few years. They recruit very good. Their program is outstanding." Florida: "They have won a couple of championships the last few years. I have some friends who have gone to Florida, like Dee Finley. They win a lot of games and always in the hunt for the BCS championship." The 6-foot-4, 271-pound prospect recorded 67 tackles, one interception and four sacks in 2009. He recognizes his strengths and areas to improve. "My biggest strength is my speed," said Hunter. "I am quick off the football. I am able to read stuff very quick. I can react quicker than everyone else. "I am trying to get stronger, learn more about the game and being able to cover. Some schools run the 3-4 defense, and ends have to cover. I need to improve my feet."
