2012 Back Gets Second Offer

Breaking News from Scout.com: Scottsdale (Az.) Saguaro RB/DB D.J. Foster gets another Pac 10 offer

Just finishing his sophomore year now, Scottsdale (Az.) Saguaro RB/DB D.J. Foster now has two verbal scholarship offers.

With Arizona State offering recently, Foster tells Scout.com that he received his second offer today.

"Oregon State offered today," Foster says.

Foster continues, "They were out at practice and they are interested in a lot of other guys on my team (TE Brock Haman and OL Cyrus Hobbi also hold OSU offers). Coach Sanders (Saguaro HC) called me into his office and said that I had just received my second offer, from Oregon State."

Foster's reaction, "I love Oregon State and Coach Sanders said they said I remind them of one of the receivers they have already. I am a big fan. I like the way they run the ball and their program."

Foster (5-11 180) says he was not expecting to get offers so early, "This seems unreal. I am very blesses and got to continue to work hard."

D.J. was named 2nd team all-region as a sophomore after rushing for 545 yards and 10 TDs. He also had 457 receiving yards. Foster was also an all-region defensive back that made 31 tackles and 1 INT.
