Offensive lineman Alex Mateas graduated from Merivale High School last year and has been playing for the Ottawa Sooners since then and Scout.com just learned over the past 24 hours that he has committed to play for Penn State. Nittany Lion fans can get an idea of what they picked up in his highlights inside.

Alex Mateas, a 6-foot-4, 310-pound offensive tackle from Canada gave Penn State his verbal commitment this week and Scout.com has his highlights below to show the fans what he brings to the table.
