Chagrin Falls (OH) Kenston linebacker Percy Johnson was impressive this week at Sound Mind Sound…
Percy Johnson Holds Two Offers
Percy Johnson is eagerly awaiting his senior season at Chagrin Falls (OH) Kenston, after moving to Ohio from Madison Heights, Michigan. Johnson, a 6-foot, 210-pound, linebacker, has adjusted well to his new teammates and surroundings since the move. "Moving here from Detroit has been a pretty easy adjustment, and I'm looking forward to my senior season," Johnson stated. "Football is football, no matter where you play. My strength is being able to recognize what's going on out on the field, I would call it my football IQ. I'm working on getting faster." With two scholarship offers in hand, Johnson is hoping to have a strong summer camp performance, in hopes that more offers will follow. "I have offers from Toledo and Bowling Green," he stated. "Toledo offered me at their spring game, while Bowling Green offered me at my school. I like both schools about the same right now, and I've spent time at both." "I'm also being recruited by West Virginia, Vanderbilt, Memphis and Wisconsin," he continued. "With my changing schools, I think people lost track of me, but things are going good right now. I'm going to a lot of camps this summer, plus my senior season, to attract more offers. If the right offer comes along before my senior season, I will go ahead and take it, and if not, I'm prepared to wait it out."
