Daniels Has Four More

Daniels Has Four More

Avon (Ind.) linebacker Armonze Daniel picked up a handful of offers recently, but still is ready to head out this week in the pursuit of more.

It took him until last month to get his first offer, but since then, recruiting has exploded for Armonze Daniel.

The 6'3, 225-lb went from zero to nine offers in the span of a few weeks. He added four just in the last week.

"Illinois, Indiana, Cincinnati and Iowa State offered," he reported.

His other offers come from Purdue, Toledo, Western Kentucky, Iowa, and Minnesota. However, it is not those schools he will camp with, but a few SEC schools, who he believes he can earn offers from.

"I'm going to LSU and Mississippi State. I hope they offer. I think I'm pretty good with Mississippi State. LSU, I'm going to have to show my stuff. LSU is this Saturday the 6th, and Mississippi State is the 12th."

Daniel is also attending an Auburn camp in July. He makes no secret that he would like to land some SEC offers and play in the South, but he does not yet have any offers from the conference. Thus, he is still looking at schools in the North.

"Cincinnati is a good school. They have a little bit of interest of mine. I like what Iowa State said about being in the Big 12 and how they go after spread offenses. They run the same type of defense as my school."

Daniel is now ready to pick up more offers at camp, but is not in a hurry.

"I'm just hoping making my decision at the end of my senior year."
