E.J. May hits two camps, grabs new offer
"I got offered by Southern Miss," said E.J. May. "They offered me today. I left their camp this afternoon and spoke to the coaches after it. I am really excited about the offer. I like Southern Miss a lot." "I spoke to coach Blake, coach Jackson and the head coach [Larry Fedora]. They told me I was one of the best corners there today. They said I have a chance to play early and really like me." May talked more about his camp performance. "The camp was a lot of fun," he said. "There were a lot of good players out there. I think I did a really good job. I worked with coach Jackson. I liked working with him a lot. I learned some new things." May was in Oxford prior to traveling to Hattiesburg. "I went over to Ole Miss on Saturday," he said. "I was there until today. The Ole Miss camp was really good as well. There were a lot of good athletes out there. "I really liked working with their DB [defensive back] coach [Chris Vaughn]. He is real nice. He taught me some new stuff. They told me after the camp they plan to get in contact with me this week."
