Vanderbilt on top
"I have received offers from Vanderbilt, Kansas, Southern Miss, Memphis, Illinois and South Alabama," said outside linebacker Maleki Harris from Cordova, Ala. "I have been receiving interest from Auburn, Mississippi State and Clemson as well. I don't really have a top five, but Vanderbilt is on top for me." "I haven't been to any camps yet. I am going to a couple coming up. I am going to Vanderbilt on Sunday, and then to Mississippi State on Monday. I might go to the Auburn camp in July." Harris talked about his heavy interest in the Commodores and spring visit to Nashville. "I plan on going into Pre-law," he said. "They have a good law program. I like their head coach [Bobby Johnson]. I have been up there for a visit. I went up there in April. They were in the last week of spring. I like their campus. I like the dorms and football facilities." The 6-foot-2, 200-pound prospect recorded 170 tackles, 15 sacks and one interception during the 2009 season. "Blitzing and coverage are my two biggest strengths," said Harris. "I am trying to work on reading the run and the pass."
