Second Offer In

Philadelphia, Pa., product Jamal Abdur-Rahman now holds two offers from Villanova and Maryland and with a strong senior season Scout.com can see him picking up a handful of more offers.

Jamal Abdur-Rahman, a 5-foot-9, 170-pound running back from La Salle College High School in Wyndmoor, Pa., picked up his second scholarship offer on Tuesday afternoon to go along with Maryland from Villanova University according to his father.

“Villanova offered Jamal today,” Amin Abdul-Rahman stated. “We are very happy about this offer and it’s a great school for him if he chooses to go there.”

Abdur-Rahman helped LaSalle win a Pennsylvania Class AAAA State Championship as a junior on both sides of the ball. On offense, he carried the ball 202 times for 1198 yards and 16 touchdowns. He also caught 29 passes for 370 yards and two touchdowns. He also had four interceptions on defense and returned a fumble for a touchdown.

As a sophomore, Abdur-Rahman ran for 1,009 yards and 23 touchdowns.
