First Offer In For Cox
Justin Cox profile "I got a scholarship from (Mississippi) State," said Justin. "I did good at the camp and Coach Mullen told me to call him after camp. "I called him and he said he felt like I fit in with their program. He said he liked how I played and he wanted me to come to their school." Adding to the attraction of Starkville is the arrival of Justin's friends and teammates, Michael Carr and Curtis Virges, to the Bulldogs' roster. "I think it's a good school and I like the atmosphere up there," said Cox. "I talked to Curtis and he told me to let him know what I was going to do because he wants me to come up there with him." Cox was eager to share the news of his first scholarship offer with his friends and family. "My family said it was my choice and it's on me," said Justin. "They told me to do best for me. They are going to support me no matter where I go." Cox makes his plays on the prep level behind center, but in college he will be looking to pick off passes rather than throw them. "I am going to be playing corner," said Justin. "I played my sophomore year and I had the most interceptions in just half a season as a starter." Despite the joy of his first offer, Cox is not in any hurry to end the recruiting process. "I am going to take my time with everything," said Justin. "I am supposed to be going to some other camps and I want to see what happens before I make a decision."
