Rory Anderson talks two SEC camps
"I visited South Carolina last week," said Rory Anderson. "One of our quarterbacks was there for a camp, but I just went to visit. I got to see a lot of the campus and talk to the coaches. It was really nice. They are building a lot, and it's going to make it that much better. "I talked to coach Hunter for a little bit while I was there. I spoke to a few other coahces. Coach Hunter wants me to get up there some more. He wants to work with me on a few different things. I really like it a lot there. They are one of my top schools. "From what they are telling me I can go up there and have the chance to play early. I wouldn't mind having to redshirt though. I like the area. It's not too close to home or too far away. My parents can come to the games." Anderson's next stop was in Starkville. "The next day I went to Mississippi State," he said. "I worked out for a little while at the camp. For some reason they needed a physical. I didn't have one, but got one. I probably worked out an hour at the camp. It was really nice. I didn't expect it to be as nice as it was. I was real surprised by their facilities. "The camp went good. We went over some plays they ran. We went over formations on where they could use me in their offensive systems. Even though I didn't get a chance to do the full day camp they were impressed with my athleticism during the camp. They said I did well. "Mississippi State is a real good school. I am definitely going to consider them. I am still looking at them. I want to meet more of the coaches. I haven't talked to them that much. They have already offered me, but I would like to spend more time there. I would like to stay overnight and check out everything." Anderson is hesitant about naming any schools as leading candidates with plenty of time to look at all options. "I did have favorites, but now I am just open," he said. "I am not going to narrow it down yet. I am going to get on the road and visit schools. When I get on the road more I would have more of an idea of favorites. I am really open right now."
