Tucson (Az.) Rincon WR Joseph Matthews becomes NMSU's first commitment for 2011 class has confirmed that WR/S Joseph Matthews from Tucson (Az.) Rincon High School has made his verbal commitment.

Matthews was offered by New Mexico State after camp recently and he has become the Aggies' first commitment from the class of 2011.

Matthews (6-1 175) was named 2nd team all-region as a defensive back in 2009 but the Aggies are recruiting him as a wide receiver.
