San Jose (Calif.) Archbishop Mitty running back Rocky Meszaros has been a busy camper this spring and summer.
While Meszaros doesn’t have an offer yet, he’s dialoguing with a handful of schools.
“I’m getting emails from a couple of schools in the WAC and I’m talking to Cal Poly a lot,” said Meszaros.
The Mustangs seem to be the team closest to offering.
“Coach (Aristotle) Thompson is who’s recruiting me and they like me as a running back,” said Meszaros. “I think Cal Poly might be offering.”
Meszaros camped at Stanford and Cal Poly this spring and also has been to the Nike Camp at Stanford, the Badger/New Level 7on7 and the AIGA Memorial 7on7 tournament.
Academically, he has a 3.1 GPA and will retake the SAT in the fall.
As a junior, he had 88 carries for 686 yards and scored seven touchdowns for Mitty.
