"I camped at South Alabama and I am looking at going to Arkansas for their camp," said Yarbor. "I went to 7-on-7 camps at Mississippi State and Ole Miss. I went to the one last weekend at Alabama."
Last weekend's event was the Badger Sport National 7-on-7 championship tournament. Yarbor was a late addition to the squad.
"I loved it," said Jason of the event. "I love the competition. I love meeting new people and seeing where my skills are. I like to see if I can play with the big dogs. It was good for me.
"I feel like I did good. I know I need to improve. I want to work on my feet and my footwork, but I feel like I came out on top.
"Mississippi has some great athletes. They made me feel like I was already on the team. We didn't do too bad for a bunch of country boys."
A school not too far from home has begun to make Jason feel like a priority. While they have not extended an offer, Yarbor believes one may be forthcoming later in the process.
"South Alabama and I are e-mailing a lot," said Jason. "I went to their camp as a receiver. The receiver coach was at a wedding, so he didn't get to see me. They want me to send film, so he can see me. All of the coaches were coming up to me at the camp getting my information, so I feel like they are really interested.
"They want to see me on film at receiver and then they are going to see about offering me. This is my first year playing receiver, so once we play a few games I am going to send them some film."
